Title	Richards Studio A50956-4
Description	Styling in the early 1950's buildings and interiors emphasized smooth, uncluttered lines. The front and top of the counter in the open office curve instead of stopping and starting with right angles. There are no columns to separate the public from office areas. The walls and fronts of the counter are light-colored as are the exteriors of the file cabinets and the tile on the floor. They are accented with the use of smaller amounts of dark surfaces in the desks, counter top, and edges of the flooring. The lighting in the ceiling is recessed. The metal railing for the stairway is open to allow light into the interior. The windows use venetian blinds to filter the light coming in from outside. Ordered by the Condon Company, an advertising company.
